Project failure...
Why IT projects fails? how I have landed up into disaster.....why murphy's law does work after several precautions ....

According to Murphy's law, If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong
Extreme version:
If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the FIRST to go wrong.

My experience .....We have started a ambitious product development from level 0 means from grass root level.
we have applied the best people for the project execution, who have spent many years with the product, we have applied the best process for project execution, we have applied the software best practise for project execution, we have applied the best reporting mechanism for monitoring and control for the project execution but still we have meet with the disaster the way titanic meet with the accident...
There were several reason but vital few of these are.....
 - The initial requirements, based on what project was agreed upon, those got changed incrementally saying that if we are not changing those specs there will not be any buyers for the product.
Architectural support has become more complex as the requirements were keep changing to accommodate all sorts of changes.
Technological direction has to change in between to accommodate the continuous changes has cause significant impact to the project execution.
Testing was started with assumption and with a simulator but actual deployment system behaviour was all together was different. The discovery of this surprise unearth at the last phase of the project.
Global Technological development was so fast by the time our product was ready, need for the product has become almost obsolete.
 The original core team members have been changed because of the conflicts, which has caused lot of issues.
Expenditure has become beyond control though it was the most focused and most discussed and most tracked project by all the upper management. With best-cost control mechanism the cost was beyond control as the demand for the Purchase Order was always urgent and immediate.
Though we have applied all the estimation technique to prepare the WBS, most of the time unknown force take over the assumptions
Our all best practises and process could not control the failure as the failure force was much more strong. The project never gone into customer testing! In production stage only project has to kill for the organisational benefit. i don't know how  to control unforeseen forces...Though team has applied the best risk management but the uncertainty has reached beyond control where top management has to decide to kill the project before time. How can we control the unexpected event happens in project due to any thing could be business reason, merger and acquisition, technological revolution etc factors, do project manager have any control? i am still doing research on this subject ..,,,,share your thought if you have come across any….
